The 160th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda celebrated in the University Library on 13th January 2023.
The 160th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, which is marked as National Youth Day was celebrated in the University Library on 13th January 2023. The celebrations commenced with the garlanding of Swami ji's portrait by the officers, staff of the library and students.
The Librarian Dr. Mriganka Mandal said the illustrious life and deeds of Swami Vivekananda were an inspiration for all.
Senior Information Scientist, Manash Esh addressed the audience and threw light on the life of Swami Vivekananda by giving reference to his life and philosophy.
Dr. Parimal Roy, Superintendent of Library Services, sensually hosted the entire program, stating that the prosperity of the country is dependent on the youth and encouraging the students to emulate Swami Vivekananda.
