The orientation program on EPWRF India Time Series (EPWRFITS) online database was held on 01/03/2023 at the University Library, University of North Bengal. The program aimed to provide insights into the contents of the database and how it can be utilized to enhance research and teaching. The session was demonstrated by Mr. Bipin K. Deokar, Sr. Deputy Director, EPW Research Foundation (EPWRF), Mumbai in the presence of Jt. Librarian, Deputy Librarian, Sr. Information Scientist and both the Assistant Librarian and all the library professionals of the University Library.
A total of 102 participants including faculty members, research Scholars and Students attended the program, which included both sessions of Commerce, Management, Economics, and Sociology. The session was highly interactive and engaging, which enabled participants to clarify their doubts and queries regarding the database.
The program provided an overview of the EPWRFITS online database, its contents, and how it can be utilized to enhance research and teaching. The program discussed how the EPWRFITS database can be utilized to conduct research and enhance teaching in Commerce, Management, Economics, and Sociology. The program included a practical demonstration of the database, which enabled participants to explore its features and functionalities.
