The program's objective was to familiarize students, research scholars, faculty members, and officers with ` features and advantages of this extensive online resource. The program was divided into two sessions, the first from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the second from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mr. Anupal Maity, Assistant General Manager of Marketing at the Kolkata branch, was invited as the resource person for the program. With his extensive knowledge of the database and its applications, Mr Maity delivered an insightful online demonstration and speech, shedding light on the key functionalities and subject coverage of the ACE Knowledge Portal. The program's first session kicked off at noon and ran for an hour and a half. Mr. Maity introduced the ACE Knowledge Portal, emphasizing its significance in academic research and learning. He highlighted the diverse range of subject areas covered by the database, with particular attention to Commerce, Economics, and Management, making it a valuable tool for students and scholars in these fields. During the demonstration, Mr. Maity showcased the user interface, search capabilities, and various tools available on the portal. Attendees were encouraged to ask questions and interact with the platform in real time. The afternoon session commenced at 2:00 p.m., attracting a new batch of attendees eager to explore the ACE Knowledge Portal. Mr. Maity reiterated key points from the first session and delved deeper into specific features that could enhance research and academic endeavors. A total of 75 participants, including students, research scholars, faculty members, and officers, attended the program. The engagement was noteworthy, with attendees actively participating by asking questions, seeking clarifications, and sharing their observations. Their involvement indicated a genuine interest in leveraging the ACE Knowledge Portal database to augment their academic pursuits.
