The University Library, NBU, hosted a Book Exhibition from November 30th to December 2nd, 2022 on account of 250th Birth Anniversary of Raja Ram Mohan Roy.
The University of North Bengal commemorated and celebrated Raja Ram Mohan Roy's 250th birth anniversary. on this account Library had hosted a Book Exhibition from November 30th to December 2nd, 2022, as well as two special lectures on Raja Rammohun Roy and Brahmo Samaj, Raja Rammohun Roy and Uttarbanga at the conference Hall on 30/11/2022. Prof. Om Prakash Misra, the distinguished Vice-Chancellor of NBU, inaugurated both programs. Mr. Amit Das, Brahmo Samaj, Kolkata, and Prof. Ananda Gopal Ghosh, former professor, NBU and eminent historian delivered a special lecture. Prof. Rathin Bandyopadhyay, Dean of Postgraduate Studies in Arts, Commerce, and Law, presided over the event.
